What does “weather here now” actually mean?

What do wind chill or humidex values mean?
Wind chill combines temperature and wind speed to estimate how cold it feels on exposed skin. Humidex does the same for heat and humidity. Both are calculated by Environment Canada and appear in the live forecast above when thresholds are met.
