Benny Blanco: Age, Net Worth, Ethnicity, and Appearance

Most people meet Benny Blanco twice: first through the radio, where his fingerprints are all over pop’s biggest hits, and then through the comments section, where strangers debate his looks, his money, and his famous fiancee. The gap between those two versions is wider than you’d expect. This article pulls the documented record — from his birth name, Benjamin Joseph Levin, to his 12 Grammy nominations and his December 2024 engagement to Selena Gomez — away from the rumor mill, one verified fact at a time.

Full Name: Benjamin Joseph Levin ·
Age: 37 ·
Net Worth: $50M–$60M (reported) ·
Occupation: Record Producer ·
Partner: Selena Gomez (engaged 2024) ·
Grammy Nominations: 12

Eight rows, one pattern: the verified public record is compact, and nearly every controversy starts where that record stops.

What is Benny Blanco’s ethnicity?

The clues are in the name and the early biography, and neither requires much decoding.

• Benjamin Joseph Levin was born in Reston, Virginia (Wikipedia (community encyclopedia)).
• He has spoken about growing up as a Jewish child in Virginia (Hindustan Times (entertainment desk)).

Is Benny Blanco Jewish?

• Yes — biographical coverage places him in a Jewish household in Virginia (Hindustan Times (entertainment desk)).
• He describes the details of that upbringing casually in interviews; it is one of the few personal facts he confirms without hesitation (editorial analysis).

The implication: his ethnicity is well-documented and thoroughly ordinary — which is exactly why the rumor version keeps winning the algorithm.

Who’s richer, Selena Gomez or Benny Blanco?

The honest answer: both are rich. The useful answer: by different mechanisms, and at very different scales.

What is Benny Blanco’s net worth?

• Celebrity Net Worth, a frequently cited wealth database, estimates his fortune at $50 million (Celebrity Net Worth (wealth database)).
• The most common reported figure is $50 million, with no credible source suggesting anything near nine figures (Celebrity Net Worth (wealth database)).
• His wealth comes from production and songwriting royalties rather than touring or brand partnerships.

What is Selena Gomez’s net worth?

• Hindustan Times pegged her at roughly $1 billion in coverage of the couple’s finances (Hindustan Times (entertainment desk)).
• Her money layers music, acting, endorsements, and the Rare Beauty cosmetics line (Hindustan Times (entertainment desk)).

Two fortunes, one pattern: the producer accumulates royalties; the global star multiplies a brand.

What this means: “who’s richer” is a category error. Gomez’s net worth behaves like a company’s valuation; Blanco’s behaves like a royalty ledger. By normal standards, both already won.

What disability does Benny Blanco have?

Direct answer: no disability appears anywhere in his documented biography, and Blanco has never publicly said he has one (Encyclopaedia Britannica (bio reference)).

Why does Benny Blanco have a monobrow?

• No medical record, interview, or biography links his facial features to any syndrome (Encyclopaedia Britannica (bio reference)).
• His grooming style is a consistent visual signature — one he has never been asked to explain in any depth.

Why does Benny Blanco not cut his hair?

• Nothing in his professional history ties his long hair to a health condition (Encyclopaedia Britannica (bio reference)).
• His output during the same years — a steady run of hits and collaborations — is the opposite of a public record of illness.

Does Benny Blanco have a syndrome?

• No credible source has documented one; the syndrome theory exists almost entirely in comment sections (Encyclopaedia Britannica (bio reference)).
• He continues to work, release music, and date one of the most visible women on earth — not the profile of someone hiding a serious untreated condition.

The pattern: the more confident the diagnosis in the replies, the thinner the evidence behind it.

Who is Benny Blanco’s ex?

Short version: there is no widely reported ex, no public marriage, and no record of children.

Does Benny Blanco have a baby?

• No credible reporting or public record shows Blanco has children (Celebrity Net Worth (wealth database)).
• The family headline in his life right now is the December 2024 engagement to Selena Gomez (Hindustan Times (entertainment desk)).

Has Benny Blanco ever been married?

• Before Gomez, there is no public record of a marriage (Hindustan Times (entertainment desk)).
• His relationship with Gomez is the first romance he has confirmed publicly (Celebrity Net Worth (wealth database)).

The takeaway: “private” was a lifestyle before it was a headline. Blanco spent two decades letting credits do the talking.

Why did Selena choose Benny Blanco?

The evidence points to a simple answer: he was already part of her life before he was her partner.

How long have Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco been together?

• They were collaborators years before they were a couple, working together on “Bad Liar” and “Wolves” (Yahoo Entertainment (celebrity news)).
• Their relationship became public in December 2023 (Celebrity Net Worth (wealth database)).
• By 2019 they were already releasing music together, including “I Can’t Get Enough” (Celebrity Net Worth (wealth database)).

When did Selena and Benny get engaged?

• The engagement was announced in December 2024 (Hindustan Times (entertainment desk)).
• No wedding date has been made public.

Gomez has said the relationship grew out of trust and friendship — that what she values most is stability, not spotlight.

What this means: Selena’s choice was never about status. She picked the producer who had seen her work, her failures, and her life before the fairy-tale lighting.

What are Benny Blanco’s personal stats and career highlights?

How tall is Benny Blanco?

• Celebrity database profiles list him at about 5 feet 7 inches (170 cm) (Celebrity Net Worth (wealth database)).
• Height trivia tends to overshadow the fact that none of his credits depend on how he looks.

What is Benny Blanco’s religion?

• Jewish, raised in a Jewish household in Virginia (Hindustan Times (entertainment desk)).
• He does not use religion as a public brand — it is a background fact, not a marketing angle.

What are Benny Blanco’s best songs?

Best-known credits: “Teenage Dream” · “Moves Like Jagger” · “Bad Liar” · “Lonely” · “I Can’t Get Enough”

His production and songwriting credits are documented across pop’s biggest catalogs (Wikipedia (community encyclopedia)).

• “Teenage Dream” — Katy Perry
• “Moves Like Jagger” — Maroon 5
• “Bad Liar” and “Wolves” — Selena Gomez
• “Lonely” — Justin Bieber, nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (The Recording Academy (Grammy org))
• “I Can’t Get Enough” — Selena Gomez, J Balvin, and Tainy

The honors track is equally long: 12 Grammy nominations so far, a Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and multiple BMI Songwriter of the Year trophies (The Recording Academy (Grammy org); Wikipedia (community encyclopedia)). His solo debut, Friends Keep Secrets, arrived in 2018 (Wikipedia (community encyclopedia)).

The pattern: the songs outrank the headlines. Whatever the comment sections say about his face, his name on a credit sheet remains one of pop’s most bankable signs.

Timeline: from Virginia kid to front-page fiance

Six milestones, one arc: a teenage protege becomes a Grammy-nominated producer, then a private bachelor becomes a tabloid fixture.

The pattern: from a teenage discovery to a front-page engagement, Blanco’s career has been a slow build that the public is only now catching up to.

Confirmed facts vs. what’s unclear

The divide is clear: the documented record is thin but consistent; the rumors are thick but unsourced.

What they say about each other

Gomez has said the relationship grew out of trust and friendship — that what she values most is stability, not spotlight.

— Selena Gomez, via Hindustan Times (entertainment desk)

Blanco is openly nerdy about failure: around his book and podcast appearances, he argues that big hits come after long strings of misses, and that the job is to keep showing up.

Encyclopaedia Britannica’s profile frames him plainly: an American record producer, songwriter, and musician with collaborations across pop’s biggest names.

The quotes verify a relationship built on shared history, not speculation.

The bigger picture

Every few months, the internet rediscovers Benny Blanco and runs the same loop: Is he sick? Who was he before Selena? Is the money real? The documented answers are quieter than the rumors — a Jewish kid from Virginia with a producer’s golden touch, 12 Grammy nominations (The Recording Academy (Grammy org)), a reported fortune in the $50 million-to-$60 million range (Celebrity Net Worth (wealth database)), and a fiancee whose reported fortune is roughly twenty times larger (Hindustan Times (entertainment desk)). The missing ingredient in the rumor loop is evidence: his face is not a diagnosis, his silence is not a scandal, and his relationship is not a business deal. For every fan about to type “why does Benny Blanco look like that” into Google, the decision is simple: trust the primary record, or keep feeding the algorithm the same groundless question.
